It's always been about hair for me...
Academic pursuits never interested me; my mother, in an attempt to steer me back to my studies, sent me to work at a nearby salon when I was just 14. Little did she know that this opportunity would spark a lifelong love for working with hair.
After studying hair in Ankara, I went on to establish two thriving salons in Türkiye, attracting a clientele that included esteemed government figures. Eager for new horizons, I moved to London in 2003. By 2005, I had launched my first UK salon in Winchmore Hill. Relocating from Cockfosters to Southgate further solidified my standing in North London's hairstyling scene.
Now, with 35 years of experience under my belt, I am based in East Finchley. Alongside my exceptional team in our newly renovated salon, Hair by Metin is ready to bring your hair aspirations to life.
